FlightGear is an open source flight simulator that allows users to command a score of real aircraft that have been perfectly recreated not only in appearance, but in their functioning as well.

In order to take off, it is important to master the controls of the different aircraft. You will have to take into account factors such as wind, visibility, and other meteorological conditions. The scenes reflect details such as the surface of the terrain, inhabited zones, rivers, valleys, etc.

There are over 20,000 available airports in FlightGear. Examples from almost every country in the world can be found. Some of them include details such as approach, runway, and taxiway lights.

You will be able to connect with other Internet users and fly on shared maps. Mechanical problems may also be present during these flight simulations.
